What is Goodhouse Design?

Goodhouse Design is about finding the house that’s right for you. Some houses are like comfort food, while others want to be showplaces. The best houses offer a bit of both—allowing people to experience cozy private spaces and to gather with friends and family in a more formal setting. We’ve learned that all good houses start with a story, and that story begins with you. We’ve devoted our careers to (studying, designing, and) learning about historic and traditional architecture, but it’s how people live in their houses that really interests us.  We love being able to bring timeless ideas into new designs that accommodate the way we live today.
